Back in 2002, my talented friend Travis Reeves made Funny Kinda Guy, an amazing full length documentary film about my gender change and the process of losing my alto voice. Hard to believe it now, but when this film was made there was almost no information publicly available about the experience of being transgender and the process of gender transition. This award-winning documentary is a wee gem; I am so grateful to Travis for pouring so much love and care into this film that captures one of the most important chapters of my life.
